For a longer and tougher days' cycling adventure, you can cycle from WaldBach.House through the forests to the wonderful reservoir 'Rursee', or for a shorter round-trip, you can take take a car to Rurberg or Einruhr and start from there:

The Hohesvenn is a vast moorland areas containing many unique plants and wild life. You can easily cycle directly from WaldBachHouse, but I like to take a short drive to Roetgen and cycle from there instead, so I can spend more time in this wonderful moorland.
Just a short cycle ride you can enter the Eifelsteig. All the routes (etappen) are really beautiful and it doesn't really matter which one you chose to do first.

This is a lovely eMTBing route taking you to this reservoir. i say eMTB rather than MTB, as parts of this trail is really steep!
